100,000 Square Foot Hydroponic Greenhouse Planned Near Indianapolis

Indianapolis residents have something to celebrate in the near future. Soon, Indy will be home to a new 100,000 square foot greenhouse built by BrightFarms Inc. The hydroponic greenhouse featuring state-of-the-art technology will be built with help from the Westside Community Development Corp. (WCDC) and Marsh Supermarkets. Nearly 1 million pounds of fresh, local produce will come from the farm annually. Foods grown will include tomatoes, herbs, and lettuces.
